The Gospel of Mental Health Conference

Did you know that in February of 2021, 43.6% of adults in Kentucky reported symptoms of anxiety or depression? In fact, in Kentucky, 189,000 adults have a serious mental illness. Mental health awareness is more than a good idea, it can be a matter of life and death regardless of age. Kentucky is ranked 18th in the nation for its high suicide rate. For Kentucky, suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death for ages 10-34, and the 4th leading cause of death for ages 35-44.

As alarming as the statistics may be, there is hope! On December 3, 2022 from 9 am to 2:00pm, I will be hosting The Gospel Of Mental Health Conference at Greater New Hope Christian Church located at 1719 Jennifer Road Lexington, KY 40505.
